Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Developer in Maryland Heights, MO. Summary: The ideal candidate has expert-level knowledge of AWS infrastructure and architecture, a strong background in software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles, and experience driving cloud-native initiatives. In this role, the resource will be given technical authority to provide guidance and recommendations on AWS infrastructure items, data engineering (ETL), CI/CD delivery, and system performance. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and support all aspects of the SDLC pipeline, including production deployments, environment refreshes, and ongoing operational support * Administer and support change control throughout delivery * Utilize SDLC tools, including Git (Bitbucket/GitHub/GitLab), Jenkins, and Artifactory, to manage code, automate builds, and orchestrate production deployments * Monitor and respond to application performance, system health, and security vulnerabilities using tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Teradata Viewpoint, and AWS CloudWatch * Architect and implement scalable and reliable solutions within the AWS ecosystem * Troubleshoot and manage connectivity/firewall requests * Implement and enforce server encryption, certifications, and patches * Develop and support ETL processes and APIs, integrating various data sources and targets * Write and optimize SQL queries for Teradata, MySQL, SQL Server, and Postgres by applying query performance tuning techniques * Work closely with cross-functional teams, including AWS and Teradata product management, cloud operations, and upstream boundary partners * Manage and support IAM permissions and policies
