Job Title: Software Developer

Job Description

Join a dynamic team tasked with creating software for Naval communication systems. This project is part of Canada’s new naval ship program and involves cyber security, networking, and internal/external communication systems.

Responsibilities

Design software solutions and contribute to software architecture designs.Understand and develop microservices solutions that operate in a complex, multi-network environment.Conduct independent research and provide innovative solutions to problems.Interact with systems engineering on technical issues.Debug software problems for near real-time simulation.Conduct and prepare presentations and demos.

Essential Skills

10+ years of experience in software development.Proficiency in C# development..NET (NET Core preferred).Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.CI/CD experience.

Work Environment

This role requires on-site presence 4-5 days a week, working in an agile environment with daily scrum meetings. The work schedule follows a 9/80 pattern, allowing for 44/36 hours work weeks with every second Friday off.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Ottawa, Ontario.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Ottawa,ON.
