Job Title: Software DeveloperJob Description This role focuses on maintaining and extending the software base for a digital intercom solution, which enables communication between aircraft over IP headsets. You will be working primarily with C++ and Boost Libraries to support VOIP functionality. The position requires a Secret Clearance due to the sensitive nature of the work in the defense industry. Responsibilities + Maintain and extend the software base for VOIP communication between aircraft. + Utilize C++ and Boost Libraries to enhance existing software functionalities. + Work on embedded systems, with interactions facilitated by the VIP system. + Implement and optimize SIP, RTP, and IAX protocols for effective communication. + Collaborate using Cisco Call Manager for conference management across aircraft. + Participate in security and operating system hardening efforts. + Use tools like BitBucket and JIRA for project management and code repository. Essential Skills + Active Secret Clearance. + Proficiency in C++ (5+ years). + Experience with Boost Libraries (2-3 years). + Knowledge of VOIP and associated tools. + Familiarity with SIP, RTP, and IAX protocols. + Experience with embedded Linux and RedHat systems. + Understanding of Python 3.X. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Cisco Call Manager. + Familiarity with Yocto and Embedded Linux. + Knowledge of Fortify and SELinux. + Skills in operating system hardening. Work Environment The work environment is a cubicle setting within a large office facility, offering a 9/80 schedule where employees enjoy every other Friday off. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $98.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
