Information Management Group, Inc. IMG is hiring a Software Developer that will develop high quality code, perform and remediate vulnerabilities according to cybersecurity principles, and perform thorough testing with attention to detail to ensure high quality software is delivered. The Software Developer must have an active DOE L clearance or an active DoD Secret clearance at a minimum.

 

Candidates must be willing to work on-site in West Mifflin, PA.

 

Key Responsibilities

Develop high quality codeProvide support for all aspects of the software development lifecycleRemediate vulnerabilities according to cybersecurity principlesDevelop, review, and execute test cases with attention to detailPublish engineering documentation including architectural diagrams and technical specificationsDevelop and perform validation and verification of user manual contentImplement database design changesPerform code reviews Qualifications

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Information Technology4+ years of relevant experience in software development to include one or more of the following:C#, Visual Basic, Javascript, C++, and the .NET FrameworkExpertise in software engineering practices and software lifecycle modelsExperience with Dev/Ops environmentsFamiliarity with database architectures, familiarity with identifying and remediating cybersecurity vulnerabilities, experience in creating and executing detailed test plans for new and updated applicationsCapability to identify and document test defects encountered while testingAbility to troubleshoot defects to determine root cause, experience in creating detailed test reports,Ability to proficiently update technical manuals

Preferred Qualifications

Strong IT troubleshooting and problem solving skillsAbility to articulate technical solutions and concepts through verbal and written communication in a clear and concise mannerMulti-tasking and prioritization abilitiesAbility to work on projects in a team environment, as well as individuallyKnowledge of chemistry principles; in particular nuclear plant chemistry
