Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.

 

Position requires:

Programming language Java and related libraries including Junit; Python and Python-based web frameworks including Django; SQL databases including MySQL or PostgreSQL; Writing optimized queries, database design, and performance tuning; Public cloud providers including AWS, GCP or Azure and containerization technologies including Docker, Docker Compose, and related orchestration tools; Source Code Management (SCM) using tools including Git and GitHub for version control, continuous integration (CI), and collaborative development workflows; Front-end development utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks including Vue.js or React, HTML, CSS, Ajax, and JavaScript; Linux internals, including troubleshooting, system administration, and application development in Linux/Unix environments; Distributed systems, computer networks, fault tolerance, scalability, and system reliability; and Machine learning, implementing algorithms in real-world projects, as well as frameworks including scikit-learn, Pandas, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
