Job Duties:

Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.29177)

 

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation. Position requires:

Building software solutions in an engineering environment using Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Shell Scripting, and SQL; Data Structures and Algorithms; Web Services inlcuding HTML, CSS, JSON, XML;; Virtualization, cloud computing and storage technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Oracle VirtualBox, AWS, OCI, OCM); Software architecture and design (Object-Oriented Programming, Microservice Architecture, Design of Distributed Systems); RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Redis) databases; Spring Framework, Ruby on Rails, OJet, Angular, express.js, and RESTful web-services; Pub/Sub Messaging and Messages Queue Systems (Kafka, Rabbit MQ).
