Job Duties:

Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May work at various unanticipated locations throughout U.S. May telecommute. (385.34231)

 

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related  field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation. Position requires: 

C and C++; Python, Perl, or Bash; Developing multithreaded embedded Linux applications and infrastructures; Developing systems with PCIe and Ethernet interfaces, including low-level driver development; Firmware and embedded system design, development, and debugging; System software development in the Linux environment; Linux kernel/driver programming; Assembly language programming (x86/ARM); Intel/AMD/ARM computer architectures; Operating system and computer architecture fundamentals; CI/CD and DevOps environments; System/kernel level debugging with GDB and core dump analysis; Design, implementation, and test of software features end-to-end; and Designing and executing unit tests, feature tests, integration tests, and performance tests, along with automation frameworks.
