Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.33597)

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation. Position requires:

1.            Java and C++;

2.            Data Structures, Algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems;

3.            Networking protocols – TCP/IP and HTTP – including REST and SSL;

4.            Unix based OS Linux;

5.            Developing services in a modern cloud IaaS provider like Google Cloud Provider;

6.            Distributed systems technologies including Kafka and Kubernetes; and,

7.            Relational Database including Oracle and MySQL.
