Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.34510)

 

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation. Position requires:

Design, implement and deliver new software features; Writing correct, secure, maintainable, and robust code, as well as appropriate tests; Planning, identifying, and mitigating risks in production software; Object oriented programming utilizing a modern programming language including Java and C++; Improving operational resiliency; triaging and resolving customer-impacting issues; Data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals; Relational and non-relational databases; and Testing automation, utilizing common unit, integration and end to end test suites.
