Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.32508)

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. Position requires:

1. Developing and debugging in C programming language;

2. Developing and debugging in Java programming language;

3. Database query language SQL and procedural language PL/SQL;

4. Relational database system internals: SQL execution, transaction management, indexing, DBMS cache, and concurrency control;

5. Computer and data security: access control, firewall, and encryption based authentication like Kerberos;

6. Concurrent software programming with locking mechanism like mutexes and semaphores;

7. Developing web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;

8. Computer Networks; and

9. Unit testing.
