About your role:
At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Software Development Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

Technical Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications 

Minimum 5 year hands-on software development experience designing, writing, debugging and testing object oriented code in a collaborative cross-functional environment. 

An advanced understanding of common computer programming algorithms. 

An advanced understanding of object oriented design principles. 

An advanced understanding of software development patterns and their application in several programming languages. 

An advanced understanding of coding techniques which contribute to the reliability, maintainability, readability, simplicity, performance, and testability of software. 

An advanced understanding of IT environments including networking, server technologies, databases, security and performance. 

Proficient in the day-to-day practicalities of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or the Rational Unified Process. 

Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Sciences. 

API Developers 

Minimum 5+ years hands-on software development experience using Visual Studio and .NET framework. 

Mobile Developers 

Minimum 5+ years hands-on software development experience, in writing Android or iOS apps. 

An advance understanding of app publication mechanisms. 

Web Developers   

Must have experience deploying high load and high traffic applications through Microsoft Azure or other Cloud provider.  

Must have experience in Node.JS, Typescript, and designing & developing secure API following RESTful principles.
