Software Dev Manager III, AWS Incident Prevention

AWS Incident Prevention team focuses on reducing the recurrence of common failure modes across Amazon. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
Build and manage a team of strong engineers responsible for tools used across Amazon. You will work with your team of engineers, product managers, and technical program managers to build highly available services, serving AWS and its customers. Some skills expected are as follows:
1. Strong execution skills.
2. Ability to hire, mentor, and grow engineers.
3. Strong operational focus and knowledge of AWS Operational Best Practices.
4. Knowledge of AWS Services.
