**Job Summary:** Sysco is the global leader in selling, marketing and distributing food products to restaurants, healthcare and educational facilities, lodging establishments and other customers who prepare meals away from home. Sysco offers a paid 10-week summer internship program in which participants are involved in much more than the day-to-day operations of the company. Interns will be exposed to real projects and challenges in a dynamic company environment designed to give interns real world experiences on what it is like to work at a Fortune 100 company. **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Works with software development, quality engineering, and documentation teams to design and develop (coding. Programming) features and capabilities + Documents and tests new software applications + Participates in design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems + Researches, investigates, and fixes a wide range of technical issues + Ensures quality and performance assurance + Proactively learns about new technologies **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education** + Students pursuing a Bachelor's degree with concentrations in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or related field + Strong academic credentials (Minimum GPA of 3.0) **Education** **P** **re** **ferred:** Strong academic credentials.
