Join our dynamic Content Platform team as a Software Development Engineer III, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting and developing software applications related to merchandising. Your innovative solutions will directly impact our customers, offering a unique opportunity to enhance your coding skills and gain exposure to diverse software applications.
ResponsibilitiesProvide first-level support and development for production software application issues.Develop monitoring solutions and troubleshoot/debug internal code using Perl, C/C++, and Java.Perform SQL queries to improve systems that gather metrics on features.Update tracking systems and resolve technical challenges.Collaborate with development teams on corporate and divisional software projects.Enhance current software and automate support processes.Document systems and processes effectively.Essential SkillsStrong coding skills in Perl, C/C++, and Java.Experience with back-end development and databases.Proficiency in migrations of services within AWS.Detail-oriented with superior verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.Professionalism under pressure.A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree.2-5 years of relevant experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred technical skills include Mason, Perl CGI.AWS integration/service experience is a plus.Candidates considered at all levels (SDE2-SDE4) must be ready to hit the ground running.Work Environment
Initially, expect to be on-site for 5 days a week, with the potential to switch to remote or hybrid work depending on office space availability. Enjoy a collaborative environment that may offer extension and conversion opportunities. Engage in back-end development with no front-end work, focusing primarily on databases and migrations, owning 22 services and depreciating old ones.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
