Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Software Dev Engineer 2 in Minneapolis, MN. Overview: The Fleet Tracking and Telematics team is looking for a software development engineer who can supplement our team. This role will be responsible for developing Kotlin/Java applications that will be deployed to the AWS cloud. Understanding of AWS cloud services is preferred but not required. You will be working alongside product managers, software engineers and hardware engineers on the team. Primary responsibilities will be designing, developing, debugging, reviewing and testing cloud services. You will work with a diverse team of Hardware and Software engineers who will work alongside you to innovate and deliver solutions for middle mile transportation. Our mission is to deploy hardware devices, firmware and the cloud services to track and collect telemetry from our assets on the road and under the roof. We work with internal customers in operations, planning and transportation. This team has extremely high ownership to ensure robust, quality and accurate solutions.
