Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer/Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the expansion and enhancement of our predictive analytics platform. This role offers the opportunity to work with mission-critical data pipelines and cloud infrastructure that directly impacts NextEra's operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: * Data Source Integration: Research and explore new data sources, understanding their interfaces and APIs * ETL Development: Design, build, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into a central database * API Development: Modify and extend our existing API infrastructure to provide additional CRUD endpoints supporting new data types and features * DevOps & Infrastructure: Maintain and enhance DevOps procedures, including containerization and deployment of ECS Tasks, Step Functions, and related data pipelines on AWS infrastructure
