Who We Are
We are a dynamic, global enterprise seeking a highly organized and results-driven Software Contract Renewals Manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring license compliance and driving cost optimization. The ideal candidate excels at managing complex timelines, engaging stakeholders, and coordinating with vendors to ensure seamless and timely renewals.
What You Will Do
Manage the full lifecycle of software contract renewals, including SaaS, on-premise, and hybrid licensing agreements.
Ensure timely execution of renewals in compliance with licensing terms, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
Engage proactively with internal stakeholders (Sales, Legal, Finance, Procurement, IT, and Customer Success) to align on renewal strategies and timelines.
Coordinate with external vendors to gather quotes, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of renewal documentation.
Monitor renewal pipelines, identify at-risk contracts, and implement strategies to mitigate churn and ensure continuity.
Analyze contract and usage data to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend optimization strategies.
Review and interpret contract language to ensure alignment with business objectives, compliance standards, and risk mitigation practices.
Maintain accurate records of contract terms, renewal dates, and communications in enterprise systems.
Provide regular reporting on renewal performance, compliance status, cost efficiency, and key milestones to senior leadership.
Support process automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and stakeholder satisfaction.
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software contract management, renewals, or customer success roles.
Experience working in or with large enterprise organizations (e.g., $10B+ in annual revenue).
Strong understanding of software licensing models (SaaS, perpetual, subscription, enterprise agreements).
Proven track record of managing complex timelines and meeting critical deadlines.
Ability to engage and influence cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in contract management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, DocuSign).
Preferred Skills
Experience in fast-paced, matrixed, or global organizations.
Familiarity with vendor management and enterprise procurement processes.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on license compliance and cost optimization.
Experience using ServiceNow for contract or workflow management.
Prior experience in Software Licensing and Asset Management (SLAM), with a strong understanding of software asset lifecycle, compliance, and optimization best practices.
