We are looking for:
Software Asset Management Expert
Your future role: Supporting our clients in transforming their software license portfolio to the cloud or in the context of regular IT and licensing assessments, Creating software compliance reports for dedicated manufacturers, Manufacturer and product-specific license consulting, Ensuring compliance with corporate policies, standards, and processes, Recommending measures to optimize licensing and ensure compliance and cost control.
Apply if you have: At least 3 years of experience in IT Asset Management, Software Asset Management, or IT Service Management, Solid knowledge of the principles of Software Asset Management, particularly licensing frameworks, usage & allocation, compliance, and cost analysis, Comprehensive knowledge of common software licensing models as well as manufacturer-specific licensing frameworks, Knowledge of industry-specific SAM tools (e.g., Flexera, USU LIMA), Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, Problem-solving and data analysis skills (focus on problem-solving, root cause analysis, identification, and implementation of process improvements) and project management skills, Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure, Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
Nice to have: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, Understanding of risk management principles, experience in identifying and mitigating operational risks related to the IT maintenance and support process, Detailed knowledge of the principles of IT Lifecycle / Software Asset Management, General understanding of budgeting and cost management issues in the IT industry, Experience with cloud computing and management (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Knowledge in managing IT infrastructures and networks, Ability to analyze and interpret IT performance metrics, Good command of German.
