Cisco Security is looking for a Technical Lead to help Cisco to unleash the power of Common Services Platform.

We have a huge responsibility to cater to huge traffic of millions of requests per second, and you will help setting up systems which can cater to this load in a secure, reliable and auto-scaling way.


Your ImpactOwn and build components of Common Services Platform and/or Solutions for a scalable cloud deployment scheme.Partner closely with product management to identify, scope, estimate work for team.Lead design, influence and contribute to implementation to deliver quality and timely release.Mentor engineers to produce their best work.Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with industry best practices (e.g., SOC 2, FedRAMP, HIPAA).Own the integration of security controls into cloud environments, ensuring the adoption of secure coding practices and data protection measures.Provide expert guidance on the implementation of identity and access management (IAM) controls, encryption protocols, and secure data storage.
Must Have Skills / Experience:12+ years designing, developing, and deploying enterprise software with 5+ years of shipping cloud native software in AWS.Proven experience with Programming languages such as Golang(preferred), Java.Experience working with REST APIs.Experience with at least one front end frameworks like: React(preferred), Angular.Proficient with container security, Docker, K8s, Terraform, microservices architecturesExperience with Git, Confluence and Jira.Knowledge of security policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with industry best practices (e.g., SOC 2, FedRAMP, HIPAA)
Nice-To-Have ExperienceExperience with GraphQLExperience with (any) API Gateway, (any) Service MeshExperience with optimizing SQL QueriesExperience with Kafka streams.
