In this role you will act as a consultant on social work matters to other professionals, administrators, psychologists, occupational therapist, medical director, residential care and training directors. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Assesses and evaluates social work program effectiveness through quality control activities and statistical analysis. Monitors outcomes of treatment interventions recommended by interdisciplinary teams and reviews cases through a formal quality assurance program to evaluate service accountability, record completeness, service outcome or need for further clinical review. + Provides psychosocial evaluation aimed at identifying the special problems and needs manifested in specific high risk populations, such as abused children and adults, Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, neurological trauma or disease, acute and chronic psychiatric diagnoses, abusive parents, and offenders. + Attends in-service staff training and completes required training promptly, as well as participates in community and marketing/networking events. + Prepares required social work reports such as assessments, case summaries, social histories and counseling reports, progress reports, discharge plans or summaries. + Provides expert testimony and advocacy representation on behalf of clients in court cases.
