Human Resource Contact: Judie Petersen /judie.petersen3@wyo.gov ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function that may be performed at the job level. + Transports clients to appointments, visitations, treatment centers, and foster care facilities. + Set up visitation schedules. + Supervises parental visits with children and monitors telephone calls. + Conducts parenting classes. + Gives testimony in court regarding observation of clients and families. + Assists with file management, computer file entries, and case narratives; ensures that all data is accurate and up-to-date in the WYOSAFE system. + Provides in-home checks and services. + Monitors urinalysis, school grades, and attendance. + Fully documents all contact with clients and children. + Confers with the Social Services Worker regarding client progress and case plans. Qualifications PREFERENCES/**AGENCY REQUIREMENTS: **Agency requires that the successful applicant possess a valid driver's license. KNOWLEDGE: + Knowledge of parenting. + Knowledge of policies regarding child protection and benefits. + Knowledge of the community or institution to be served. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma Experience: 0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Social Services Programs) OR Education & Experience Substitution: 1-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Social Services Programs) Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None Necessary Special Requirements PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: + This position takes place in an average work environment.
