The Social Service Director at the Southern Utah Veterans Home is responsible for overseeing and coordinating social service programs for residents. This includes assessing the needs of residents, developing individualized care plans, and providing support and resources to help residents achieve their goals.
The Social Service Director will work closely with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure that residents receive the highest quality of care and support. They will also collaborate with community organizations and agencies to provide additional resources and services to residents as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in social work -LCSW or a related field, as well as experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
