EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: As a Social Service Counselor 4-A, the incumbent will: + Be responsible for providing supervision and leadership for SCLHSA's Single Point of Entry (SPOE) for behavioral health services. + Will serve as the lead worker, requiring advanced clinical skills, decision-making authority, and direct supervision of case managers who will be working in this program. + Will be responsible for screening clients who are in need of behavioral health services to assess the need for referrals to outside agencies for additional resources and for services that are provided in our behavioral health centers.
