Social Procurement Lead, EMEA

At JLL, our enterprise-wide sustainability strategy revolves around three pillars: Climate Action, Healthy Spaces, and Inclusive Places. Within this strategy, Sourcing and Procurement plays a vital role. The Global Responsible Procurement Team has a fantastic opportunity to incorporate environmental and social practices into annual procurement spend of ~$14.5 billion on behalf of clients and for JLL’s corporate procurement. On the social side, the Global Responsible Procurement Team is responsible for the data collection, validation and performance against our social procurement program metrics in collaboration with key partners throughout Sourcing and Procurement.Reporting to the EMEA Responsible Procurement Lead, the Social Procurement Lead will be responsible for the program management, reporting, analysis, and stakeholder engagement related to our Social Procurement Program in the EMEA region and will work to support our global strategy to increase our engagement with small and historically disadvantaged businesses. Additionally, this role will support our activities related to Modern Slavery prevention and supply chain risk management. The Social Procurement Lead will join the Global Responsible Procurement Team, which is an integral part of JLL’s Sourcing and Procurement 1,000-person organization.This will be a hybrid role with applications preferred from candidates based in London, UK, with consideration for applicants from other locations.What this role involves:
Contribute to and execute annual plans to increase small and social supplier spend in line with our regional and global objectives, working in partnership with Responsible Procurement teammates and client account delivery teams.Manage the data process and governance around our small and social supplier data across multiple countries and categories, ensuring it is complete and accurate in the region.Evolve reporting processes to ensure compliance and improve reporting efficiency.Identify small and social suppliers and increase their capabilities to meet JLL client and JLL needs.Develop supplier development and mentorship programs for small and social suppliers.Build and maintain strong partnerships with external social advocacy organizations (e.g., MSDUK and WEConnect International).Attend Social Procurement events where relevant either internally or externally.Develop, maintain and share standard Social Procurement collateral that can be used in client bids, RFx and for other purposes.Support S&P colleagues with data insights and mentorship to help create account-level impact in support of our Social Procurement program.Build an industry-leading and commercially recognized Social Procurement program in close partnership with colleagues in the Global Responsible Procurement Team.Stay on top of best practices industry-wide and more broadly around Social Procurement across the EMEA region.Support the implementation of Modern Slavery and Risk Management activities for JLL’s EMEA supply chain, including the rollout of IntegrityNext.Design and deliver supplier-facing training to help increase supply chain capabilities on Modern Slavery prevention and Social Procurement.Contribute to Sourcing & Procurement’s activities to ensure compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSRD) for supply chain elements, and associated reporting.Contribute to JLL's Modern Slavery Statement and support Modern Slavery Committee meetings.Sound like the job you are looking for? Social procurement and/or supplier diversity experience and knowledge (essential) and passion for broader sustainability topics such as greenhouse gas emissions, waste, elimination of Modern Slavery, human rights, etc.Expertise in data analysis including strong Excel skills.Ability to influence and communicate across Sourcing & Procurement and JLL business lines.Ability to represent Sourcing & Procurement as a consultant to client account teams and business line leaders.An excellent change manager with a proven track record of driving results.Experience of external client-facing situations.Experience in strategic sourcing / procurement or other relevant business experience.Experience of working with suppliers across the EMEA region.Knowledge of corporate sustainability legislation (e.g. CSRD, CSDDD) and experience with associated reporting considered and advantage.Willingness to travel as required by the role.English is required, with fluency in additional EMEA region languages considered an advantage.What do we offer:
