Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

 As a Social Media Producer for Primetime at Telemundo, you’ll be at the heart of our most high-profile entertainment programming, helping shape the way millions of fans experience our shows across platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with content creators, marketers, talent, and showrunners to develop and publish daily social content that builds buzz, deepens fandom, and drives tune-in. From launching trailers and behind-the-scenes moments to sparking live conversation during episodes, you’ll be the voice behind the brand in real time.

You’ll work within a nimble, high-energy team that thrives on creativity, speed, and cultural relevance. This role is central to Telemundo’s broader strategy to grow and engage U.S. Hispanic audiences across social, streaming, and broadcast—helping make our shows feel as alive on social as they are on screen.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

3+ years of experience producing social media content for entertainment brands, TV shows, or talentFluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken); must be culturally fluent with U.S. Hispanic audiencesProven experience publishing across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter)Skilled in copywriting, editing, and crafting platform-native voice and toneExperience working in a fast-paced, live production environment (including nights/weekends during key premieres or finales)Strong visual eye and ability to collaborate with designers, video editors, and motion graphic artistsFamiliarity with Meta Business Suite, TikTok for Business, and social publishing tools like Sprout or LaterMust be willing to work on-site at Telemundo Center in Miami and have flexibility to cover primetime windowsOccasional travel may be necessary to attend campaign and production activities

Desired Characteristics:

Passion for scripted drama, reality TV, and pop culture—especially Telemundo’s content slateExperience collaborating with talent, publicists, or showrunnersAbility to identify and activate viral trends in real timeVideo editing and/or graphic design skills are a plus (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)Knowledge of paid social, community management, and social listening tools is a plus

Additional Requirements:

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
