Job DescriptionThe Social Media Manager NEWS for Noticias Telemundo will lead the strategy, production, and execution of social media initiatives across platforms to enhance reach, engagement, and brand presence. This role will supervise a team of social producers, create innovative content strategies, and coordinate closely with internal stakeholders.
QualificationsBasic Requirements:
Develop and execute multiplatform content strategies tailored to social media, maximizing impact and reach.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the social media team, setting priorities and managing editorial calendars.Coordinate closely with the Streaming and Cross-Platform Management teams to plan and execute livestream productions, ensuring high-quality audience experiences and seamless editorial alignment.Drive the development of social media strategies for original stories, special projects, and franchises.Leverage real-time analytics to inform content decisions and optimize performance.Collaborate with editorial, digital, and linear teams to gather assets and ensure consistency across all channels.Conduct quality control on all published social content to ensure timeliness and accuracy.Lead training sessions and workshops to empower journalists with multimedia and social-first practices.Report on performance to executive leadership and identify areas for innovation and growth.Work under the supervision of the VP News Digital and Streaming and support other tasks as assigned.Desired Characteristics:
