Job Summary:
The Social Media Manager is responsible for managing BDO’s organic and paid social media presence across various social media channels, integrating strategic marketing messaging, materials and creative assets. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for providing strategic direction to drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads, and plays a key role in the execution and optimization of paid social media campaigns to support business objectives.

Serves as a strategic internal resource to marketing professionals, industry groups, business lines, creative services, and BDO professionals (Client Service, BD, Recruiting, etc.) regarding integration of social media programs Works with national marketing leaders to develop and implement social media and content strategies Works with external agencies (advertising, PR, SEO) in developing online social media campaigns and creating specific deliverables Champions the BDO brand to ensure online marketing and communications reflect the firm’s messages, positioning and visual identity Develops online standards and processes in alignment with global standards Other duties as required

Education:
Bachelor’s degree, required; focus in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or Business Administration, preferredExperience:
Five (5) or more years of marketing or communications experience, required Experience in the strategy, development, implementation, and ongoing management of B2B organic social media campaigns and programs, required Experience planning, executing, and optimizing paid campaigns on LinkedIn, including audience targeting, budget management, and performance analysis, required Three (3) or more years of social media management experience, preferred Experience working within a professional services environment (i.e., accounting, financial consulting, business advisory services and/or banking industries), preferredLicense/Certifications:

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, required Experience with social media management and reporting tools (i.e. Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social) required Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Airtable preferredLanguage:

Strong understanding of LinkedIn’s advertising platform, analytics, and reporting tools to measure and improve campaign effectiveness Excellent project management skills and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment while effectively managing multiple projects and coordinating with both internal teams and external partners to achieve targeted outcomes. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple social media accounts and platforms, adapting writing style and tone to suit the unique requirements and audiences of each channel, specifically LinkedIn and X Strong interpersonal and client service skills, consultative approach to working with marketing and client service professionals at all levels Strong knowledge of individual platform metrics and analytic tools to measure, interpret, and optimize social media performance Understanding of and ability to communicate BDO business, marketplace and value proposition Driven self-starter with a proactive approach to serving professionals at all levels in a client-oriented, matrixed environment Knowledge of B2B marketing strategies and tactics and their application in a professional services organizationIndividual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography. California Range: $80,000 - $85,000 Colorado Range: $80,000 - $85,000 Illinois Range: $80,000 - $85,000 NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $80,000 - $85,000
