**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Are you passionate about crafting meaningful social media experiences that bring brands and communities closer? We’re looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead our organic social media efforts across LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), YouTube, and beyond. This role isn’t just about crafting content and managing posts. It’s about shaping our brand presence, building a vibrant community, and fostering genuine engagement that reflects where audience interests and who we are come together.
As a newly independent, publicly listed company, we are particularly focused on growing our follower base and fostering authentic connections. This is an opportunity to develop and bring to life a social strategy and content for a growing organization with ample room for innovation. Reporting to the Senior Director of Digital Communications, Content & Storytelling, this is a great spot for a self-starter who’s passionate about bringing in the latest, greatest thinking in a way that advances our company strategy.
**WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH**
+ Own and bring to life our integrated organic social media strategy across existing and emerging channels, creating content and campaigns that engage, inspire and energize our audiences. Partner with the leaders of paid, digital, editorial and the team leader to ensure our social strategy complements and advances our overall content strategy, narrative and brand objectives.
+ Develop an action plan to grow our followers across our social channels and increase engagement on posts, with an emphasis on creating innovative, audience-friendly, brand-building content and test-and-learn piloting. Measure and report on follower and engagement growth across our primary platforms, and explore channels that would be newer for us—like Pinterest, X (Twitter), and TikTok—to reach additional audiences.
+ Steward our social editorial calendar with thoughtful content sourcing, creation and curation, informed by social listening, data insights, internal and external moments, and our communication strategies. Define posting frequency and plans. Collaborate with website, editorial and other communications colleagues to ensure an integrated storytelling experience across social, digital, internal and other platforms.
+ Create innovative, distinctive, winning social content, including copywriting, and photo and video editing.
+ Lead efforts to elevate our C-Suite social thought leadership, helping executives connect meaningfully with the community and enhancing our brand authority. Manage social media calendars and profiles for select executives.
+ Manage social media monitoring and community management for Amrize corporate channels, and select executive profiles. Perform best practice channel management and hygiene, including auditing tool performance, securing additional social media handles, and ensuring profiles stay active.
+ Define and deliver comprehensive performance metrics to measure success and identify opportunities for continuous improvement—providing actionable insights and recommendations to keep our strategy sharp and effective.
+ Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**
**Education:** Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
**Field of study preferred:** Marketing, communications, journalism or a related field.
**Required work experience:** 5-7 years of experience in organic social media content creation and management, ideally including work in a B2B environment.
**Required social media skills:** Proven track record in developing and delivering organic strategies and content that grow engagement and followers; experience managing editorial calendars and collaborating cross-functionally; familiarity with social media best practices and emerging trends, particularly in platforms that would be newer to us, like TikTok, Pinterest and X.
**Required technical skills:** Deep experience and skill using Adobe Photoshop, Premiere and other photo/video editing tools. Strong analytical skills and experience with social media analytics tools, for example, Sprout and Hootsuite.
**Required general skills:** Excellent communication, writing, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
**Travel Requirements:** 10-20%
