Job Description

Omni Hilton Head is seeking a talented Social media coordinator to create and maintain a strong online presence for our company. Your role is to implement online marketing strategies through social media accounts. If you are a tech-savvy professional with an interest in communicating with clients through online channels, we would like to meet you. As a Social media coordinator, you will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand. Ultimately, you should be able to increase web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies.

Responsibilities Develop and maintain a social marketing plan that specifically engages our target audiencesCreate engaging text, image and video content based on marketing planDesign posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new promotionsBuild online following and track ROIStay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectivenessEngage with associates across all departments to contribute to media contentFacilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queriesReport on online reviews and feedback from customers and fansDevelop and maintain an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metricsOversee social media accounts’ layoutEngage local attractions and events to give new and existing Omni customers reasons to visit RichmondParticipate in bi-weekly marketing update meetings

Requirements

Proven work experience as a Social media coordinatorExpertise in multiple social media platformsIn-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google AnalyticsAbility to deliver creative content (text, image and video)Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channelsAbility to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactivelyExcellent communication skillsMultitasking and analytical skills Qualifications BS degree in Marketing preferred, New media or relevant fieldOne or more years of experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role.Proficient in business posts on social media platforms.Understand SEO and web traffic data.Experience researching buyer and consumer persona.Understand social media KPIs.Familiar with web page design and publishing.Must be able to multitask.Critical thinker and problem-solver.Works well with a team.Organized and self-motivated.Excellent time management.Exceptional at communication and building relationships.
