About this opportunity:
As a Social Media and Editorial Intern, you will be working closely with Ericsson’s Global Marketing and Communication team, providing social media management and content support for multiple channels. Prime expectation will be to ensure all content and social media assets produced are high-quality and in line with Ericsson’s brand guidelines and tone of voice.
What you will do:
• Social media accounts/channels management
• Providing copy and editorial support including articles, press releases, blogs, social media content etc.
• Work on global projects for the Marketing & Communications teams by providing content for social channels, both organic and paid
• Review & edit written content for grammar, verbiage, and comprehensibility to make them error free and according to Ericsson brand guidelines
The skills you bring:
• Familiarity and understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Basic knowledge of social media management tools like Hootsuite, Meltwater etc. and social listening is a plus
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Eye for details in terms of grammar and verbiage
• Command over the US English guidelines
• A knack for editing and proof reading with good research and paraphrasing skills
• Ability to write in a variety of formats and styles for global audience
• Basic understanding of digital marketing
• Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines in multi-project, stakeholder scenario
• Enthusiastic and motivated individual with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Qualifications
• University degree in English, Mass Communication, Journalism, Media and Communication would be preferred
