Social Content Specialist - University of Washington
As a part of Learfield’s new Always On team and initiative, the Content Specialist is an important role on the ground at The University of Washington that assists in the development and production of original and branded content-driven executions in partnership with the school. Reporting to the Supervising Producer and working closely with the on-site sales team, they will collaborate with the athletic departments, school production teams, and local staff to help ideate, create and execute a robust original and branded content offering and calendar that will increase fan engagement across school athletic handles as well as generate revenue opportunities for local Learfield sales staff.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Assist in creation of original video and social content in partnership with school teams to drive fan engagement across social channels and generate revenue opportunities for local sales staffAssist creation of custom branded social media content for local property sales staff to drive revenue opportunities for Learfield.Assist in the creation of content for various platforms including but not limited to multimedia audio/video, animation, graphics, and sponsorable contentAlong with Supervising Producer, act as a liaison between athletic department content team, Learfield local sales teams and national salesCollaborate closely with athletic department content teams to create custom branded content (in all forms) in the defined voice and tone of each social media account, across all platforms, including emerging platformsAssist in the development and execution of creative projects from idea generation through final deliverables, including writing, producing, shooting, and overseeing edit when necessary at WashingtonAssist Supervising Producer and Washington Production Teams on the creative content development for all Learfield led original content opportunitiesCollaborate closely with athletic department content teams to create original content in the defined voice and tone of each social media account, across all platforms, including emerging platformsAssist in the production of Learfield live-action shoots at Washington

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Must have previous experience with shooting videoPrefer advanced knowledge of graphic, motion design, photography, and video editing/production (including Adobe Creative Cloud)Minimum 1-year experience successfully working in a creative production environmentMinimum 1-year experience in developing creative content that has driven engagement and resultsPrefer previous experience in sports industry and ideally in college athleticsAbility to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentProven ability to collaborate with other content creators and stakeholdersExcellent communication skills with the ability to present concepts and strategies to leadershipAbility to generate new ideas and concepts that might align with a project's initiativesStrong administrative, critical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.Must be highly organized, efficient and precise in his/her work.

Pay Transparency

The approximate base pay for this position is $21.63 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and/or sales compensation. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as geographic location.
