Job Description Job Title: SOC Operator Job Type: Looking for On Bench/On Call RoleReports To: Security Shift Supervisor Job Summary: The SOC Operator is responsible for continuously monitoring and responding to security alerts and events to protect the organization from threats. This role involves real-time security event monitoring, initial triage, and escalating incidents to management when necessary. Key Responsibilities: + Monitor security systems + Perform initial triage of security alerts and escalate incidents per established procedures. + Document security events and maintain incident logs for compliance and reporting. + Follow incident response playbooks to contain and mitigate security threats. + Conduct basic threat analysis and recommend appropriate actions. + Assist in vulnerability scanning and reporting security findings. + Collaborate with the IT and security teams to ensure effective threat detection. + Support shift-based SOC operations, including 24/7 coverage if required. Qualifications: + Security experience preferred + CCTV experience + Security Programs: Digital Watchdog, Lenel S2, ExaqVision, etc. Preferred Skills: + Basic computer skills + Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. + Teamwork + Time management + Problem Solving + Adaptability + Communication Requirements
