Overview:

Deloitte is seeking a seasoned SOC Operations Manager to oversee and operate its Security Operations Center (SOC) in Herndon, VA. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cybersecurity operations and management, possess a proven track record of leading 24x7 SOC teams, and demonstrate a strong understanding of federal security regulations and compliance standards. This is a mission-critical, on-site role requiring a Top Secret clearance and the ability to lead cross-functional security operations within a high-stakes environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and operate a 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC) and ensure appropriate shift coverage and incident response capabilities.Oversee personnel schedules and ensure continuous support across all SOC shifts.Ensure timely investigation and response to security events and incidents.Develop, implement, and enforce SOC standard operating procedures (SOPs).Maintain and evolve reporting mechanisms and deliver executive-level status updates.Align SOC operations with FISMA, NIST, and DHS 4300A/B controls and regulatory compliance requirements.Interface with IT and security leadership to drive incident response, threat intelligence integration, and monitoring improvements.Required Skills & Qualifications:Minimum of 10 years in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity, with at least 4 years managing a SOC in an enterprise network environment.
