SCOPE OF ROLE:
Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problemsDevelops and administers schedule and performance requirements; may have budget responsibilitiesDevelops and implements strategic, technical, and operational security/infrastructure controls that are properly aligned with business or program goals and objectivesReviews and prioritizes needs and analyzes project costs and feasibilityMaintains current knowledge of relevant technologyManages a medium to large team or department of multiple disciplines. Medium to High Complexity. Direct reports are typically exempt and often include other people managers.Support SOC program planning, execution, and reportingMonitor performance metrics and prepare reports for leadershipHelp ensure compliance with security policies and regulationsFacilitate communication between teams and stakeholdersIdentify and implement process improvementsSupport training and development of SOC teamAssist in vendor management and contract oversightRequirements:
6 years of relevant job experience, including cyber security work, financial and administrative experience
2-3 years of cyber incident response experience
3 years previous leadership experience, preferably leading technical teams
Good communication skills, both oral and written
EDUCATION: BA/BS or equivalent
The likely salary range for this position is $136,000 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
