**Please review the following job description:**
Responsible for supporting and maintaining the technical IT/cyber security capabilities necessary for safeguarding the firm's information systems as relates to SOAR. Assist in the designing, planning, testing and implementation phases of cybersecurity technology projects. Support SOAR application infrastructure.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
+ Respond to customer-reported issues in adherence to established Service Level Agreements, triaging and resolving them via ticketing systems, phone, email, or remote sessions, while supporting end-user customers in the cybersecurity space, platform developers, and onboarding new customers.
+ Perform advanced troubleshooting at the application level (including playbooks, integrations, and automations) and OS level for the on-premises SOAR platform on Linux, using knowledge of Linux command line operations, scripting, and security technologies.
+ Identify areas of fault (code, environment, configuration, or integration) in SOAR deployments and collaborate with development, engineering, or customer teams to implement fixes.
+ Participate in efforts related to designing, planning, enhancing, and testing SOAR features, including base-lining current configurations, trend analysis, and capacity planning for future requirements and new integrations.
+ Participate in the analysis of customer environments to determine, recommend, and plan the use of new SOAR automations, playbooks, or modifications to existing setups for efficient operation and effective resource utilization.
+ Participate in the implementation of new SOAR features, integrations, or upgrades, including initial configuration, installation, change management, and operational handoff.
+ Take a new perspective on existing solutions to solve complex problems and exercise judgment based on the analysis (e.g., modeling, testing, etc.) of multiple sources of information.
+ Provide technical support for the SOAR platform, offering problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner and explaining and interpreting complex, difficult, or sensitive information.
+ Lead small SOAR-related projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; play significant roles in larger, more complex initiatives.
+ Ensure compliance with internal IAM processes and ITIL standards through ServiceNow for incident management, change requests, and other IT service processes.
+ Maintain and update the internal wiki with documentation on SOAR configurations, troubleshooting guides, best practices, and operational procedures.
+ Handle service requests via ServiceNow to coordinate with the broader enterprise technology space, including infrastructure, networking, and security teams that support the SOAR application's runtime environment.
+ Utilize Linux command line for system administration tasks, such as monitoring, patching, and configuring the SOAR platform infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

+ Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in systems engineering or administration or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
+ In-depth knowledge in applied enterprise information security technologies including but not limited to firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, network operating systems, identity management, database activity monitoring, encryption, content filtering, and Mainframe security
+ Previous experience in planning and managing IT projects
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree and six years of experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
+ Banking or financial services experience
+ **Experience with SOAR platforms.** Experience troubleshooting Linux-based environments at the command line, and providing customer-facing technical support in cybersecurity. Experience with Ansible or similar automation tools, ServiceNow for ITIL-compliant processes, IAM compliance, and maintaining internal wikis or knowledge bases.
