What you’ll doVodafone has an ambition to build a $750m Microsoft business by leveraging its global scale and incubating new capabilities. To scale this business, we plan to build in-house services and tooling across markets, build deeper and broader Microsoft expertise, and formalize best practices to ensure commercial success. To facilitate and accelerate best practice sharing and leverage our scale, we propose to build a virtual community called “the Microsoft practice”.
This role will establish the practice, owning the strategy, implementation and execution. Working closely with key Microsoft stakeholders and bringing together a community of ~100 Microsoft practioners across Vodafone footprint. Each local market will have a Microsoft Practice Leader accountable for the performance of Microsoft revenues and targets in their market. This role will lead this virtual community of pre-sales, sales, commercial, product, and partner management.
This role requires experience in building, managing and engaging large scale multi-market matrix programmes successfully and flexibility, showing comfort to adapt direction and priorities as business needs change. It requires the ability to define understand market & customer and strategic partner dynamics across multiple geographies, to define strategy and to influence internal stakeholders, external partners and other product portfolios and various Vodafone Business functions across local markets to ensure successful delivery. This role will be expected to be the thought leader on Microsoft and to have a track record of driving change and launching solutions in a highly matrixed environment.

Who you are
Experience in leading and managing large-scale global matrix programmes Strong understanding of Microsoft products and services, including 365, Azure, Teams Phone, and Security.Experience building technical and commercial capability in a large corporate and matrixed environment, especially related to the Microsoft ecosystemExperience and/or knowledge of Vodafone global product offerings (Cloud, Fix, UC, Cybersecurity, Digital Apps, etc)Ability to conceptualize new, innovative applications/services and justify design, build, and/or buy decisions using solid ROI analysis.Focus on customers at a global level whilst appreciating any local differences. Able to manage and understand global customer trends. Drives senior functional stakeholders to align with their strategy and requirements. Highly proficient at managing global strategy.Requires ability to manage P&L and commercials and service levels globally for their product .. This scope includes providing pricing guidelines and templates to ensure that we use all our global incentives from Microsoft to construct winning, profitable offers to customers.Able to spot global product and technology trends.
