The SnowSports On-Snow Supervisor plays a key leadership role in supporting the full guest journey, from arrival through post-lesson follow-up, while maintaining operational excellence across all aspects of The Summit's SnowSports School. Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is lots to do all year long. Responsibilities Job duties may include, but are not limited to: Communicate effectively with staff to build trust, foster engagement, and support retention. Assist in recruitment efforts by identifying staffing needs across ability levels, programs, and guest demographics, and encouraging team referrals. Oversee daily and seasonal instructor scheduling to ensure optimal coverage, especially during peak business days (e.g., 26 Red Days). Manage onboarding, activation, and separation of team members, ensuring a smooth and accurate transition across employment stages. Oversee uniform inventory and coordinate the distribution and return process for base area staff. Lead and support instructor training initiatives to promote consistent teaching standards and professional development across all levels. Qualifications What we are looking for: Profound working knowledge of the Summit SnowSports School or another School of similar scope. Level 2 PSIA/AASI Certification and Youth Credentials preferred. Ability to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision. Ability to evolve, adapt and change. Wage and Benefit Info: The wage range for this positions is: from $25.50 to $27.50 This is a non-benefited role. All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff). All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
