The SnowSports Assistant Manager is responsible for cultivating a strong team culture and overseeing the administration, recruitment, training, daily operations, labor management, and overall profitability of the SnowSports School. Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is lots to do all year long. Responsibilities Job duties may include, but are not limited to: Assist with recruitment of seasonal staff in collaboration with the Human Resources department. Manage the processing of personal data and documentation for employee arrivals and departures. Oversee uniform distribution, inventory, and overall uniform program management. Administer and maintain day-to-day administrative operations for the SnowSports School. Coordinate cross-departmental processes related to sales, reservations, and operational procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Support the Administrative Supervisor in facilitating and troubleshooting seasonal payroll for SnowSports School and Race Department staff (if applicable), ensuring 100% accuracy. Qualifications What we are looking for: Profound working knowledge of the Summit SnowSports School or another School of similar scope. Level 2 PSIA/AASI Certification and Youth Credentials preferred. Wage and Benefit Info: The wage range for this positions is: from $27.00 to $30.00 This is a non-benefited role. All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff). All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
