Your mission will be…
Platform Development and Evolution: Design, develop, and enhance the Snowflake platform’s features and architecture to support scalability, performance, and innovation. Automation: Create and maintain automated processes to streamline operations. Monitoring and Performance: Develop and manage monitoring solutions to track platform health, performance, and usage, ensuring optimal functionality and proactive issue resolution. Security: Implement and maintain security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC), data encryption, and compliance with security standards. Customer Collaboration: Partner with internal customers to provide expert guidance on project architecture, implementation strategies, and troubleshooting within the Snowflake platform. Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to the Snowflake platform, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create comprehensive documentation for platform processes, configurations, and best practices, and share knowledge with internal teams. Degree in IT or in a related field/similar quantitative field/equivalent practical experience. Strong knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices for designing robust data platforms. Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake-specific features, capabilities and security model. Experience with dbt is a plus. Hands on experience in developing procedures with scripting languages (e.g.: Python and JavaScript). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with cloud platforms and their integration with Snowflake (e.g. AWS and Azure). Passionate about writing code that is efficient, readable and elegantly designed.
