What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Snowflake Developer, working close to one of our main clients in financial sector.
This developer will have experience in business analysis, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions on the Snowflake platform. In addition to technical development, need to collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear data product specifications. Ensure that data systems are optimised, meet business needs, and support strategic objectives across asset management, personal wealth, and private equity domains
Main tasks and accountabilities will be:
Design, develop, and optimise Snowflake-based data pipelines, schemas, and solutions. Collaborate with business users to gather, clarify, and document data product requirements. Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and data models. Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using modern data engineering tools (e.g., DBT, Airflow). Perform data validation and support data quality initiatives as part of migration or integration projects. Optimise queries and data structures for performance and scalability. Document technical solutions and support knowledge transfer to team members. Liaise with cross-functional teams including data analysts, QA, and business stakeholders. Stay up to date with Snowflake platform enhancements and best practices.What UST expects from you?
Proven experience as a Snowflake Developer in a data engineering environment. Strong understanding of SQL, data warehousing concepts, and cloud data platforms. Experience gathering and documenting business requirements for data solutions/products. Ability to translate business needs into comprehensive technical specifications. Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline orchestration. Familiarity with data validation, data quality assurance, and migration practices. Excellent communication skills, with ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in financial services (asset management, personal wealth, or private equity) desirable. Good english level (C1) you will be working with international teams.Nice to have:
Exposure to modern data tools such as Python, DBT, or Airflow. Experience with agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Work Location
100% remote within Spain.
Work schedule
Business Hours. No intensive working days for friday or summer.
