Here’s what you’d do: The Snow Equipment Operator must be interested in learning to do all aspects of snow removal during the winter. Equipment Operator must also clean, maintain and secure all equipment as directed by policies and procedures. THE PAY RANGE FOR THIS ROLE IS $35 - $40 PER HOUR BASED UPON PREVIOUS RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES YOU HOLD. You’d be responsible for: Removing snow using a various types of heavy equipment for several hours at a time, depending on the amount of snowfallBeing available each time it snows and report either to a central location or directly to the jobsiteRemoving snow in appropriate locations, avoiding piling it on trees, shrubs, fire hydrants or sidewalksReporting any concerns or incidents to your direct SupervisorFilling out a job sheet as soon as you are finished working after each snow removal operationParticipating in maintaining a safe and secure work environment for team employees and clients by adhering to company safety policiesBeing aware of safety issues or concerns, and report them to the appropriate SupervisorPerforming other tasks as assigned by supervisor/managerYou might be a good fit if you have: High School Diploma or GEDValid Driver's License
Reliable transportation to and from any work site
Prior experience operating snowplow equipment and heavy equipment for snow removalAble to work ON-CALL and Overnight in the winter months
