Position Summary:

We are seeking a SMT Technician to join our dynamic Manufacturing Engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) processes and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

Your RoleProvide direct support to the Plant SMT Engineer in the introduction of new products to SMT lines.Lead and execute prototype builds on SMT lines, including detailed reporting.Support and implement engineering changes (CMII) and MRVAs within the SMT area.Actively contribute to problem-solving initiatives and continuous improvement projects.Support troubleshooting activities related to SMT machinery and equipment.Drive improvements in First Time Quality (FTQ) and reduce scrap rates in the SMT area.Your BackgroundHigh school graduation – minimum requirement;Knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT) process;Experience on SMT area/automotive industry (> 5 years);Experience working with SMT placement/printing machines (ASM/K&S brands is a plus);Proactive and dynamic personality with good communication and teamwork skills;Good English skills (only reading is mandatory)Problem Solving and data interpretation/analysis abilities;Acquainted with PCB assembly drawings and components’ BOM (Bill of materials) is a plusWHY JOIN US:You can grow with us.
