SMR Program Operations Leader
Job Description SummaryThis role will be a key strategic leader for the Small Modular Reactor (SMR) business reporting to the Executive Leader. This role is responsible for overseeing operational activities across our product lines, driving continuous improvement through LEAN, and supporting the business by developing and leading initiatives to improve organizational performance and meet key business deliverables. This role will partner with internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to build, implement, and execute operational deliverables that drive SMR business success.

Examples of additional leadership activities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:

Establish and manage daily management operating rhythms for clarity and visibility of priorities and resultsRepresent the Advanced Nuclear Organization in key meetings with business leadership, as well as select meetings with clients or potential clients, covering issues of forecasting, planning, execution, and strategy alignmentDevelop and oversee Lean action plansPartner with GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GVH) Lean Leader and cross functional teams to drive continuous improvement through problem solving, kaizen, and standard work in order to achieve SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) KPI targets. Determine when kaizens will be most effective in resolving business challenges.  Develop and own annual kaizen plan. Partner with the Product Management team to ensure consistency and accuracy in the annual budget development processRepresent the P&L in coordination of the Long-Term Strategy planning and communication (ie presentations, memos) of deliverablesDevelop and implement enhanced visual management to increase transparency, performance and delivery of customer valueSupport optimization and business coordination across all functions, including Sales, Project Delivery, Engineering, Sourcing, Quality, and Licensing.Drive excellence in our corrective action programSupport annual budget development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals


Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering a related discipline OR Business related discipline, from an accredited college or universityMinimum of 10 years of experience in operations, project, program, or lean managementAt least 5 years in a leadership position for the power generation industry.

The base pay range for this position is $153,800 to $240,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on Friday June 13th.

The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
