This involves the development of an innovative and price competitive business process outsourcing solution that meets client requirements and delivers value to our clients. Specific areas of focus include: * Design and development of a successful solution architecture: the business process solution architect needs to have a clear understanding of the customer's requirements and the ability to design the "future" solution to meet the customer's requirements. This includes process definition, technology solution offerings to support the processes, and the infrastructure required to implement the solution. In addition, security, compliance and other solution considerations must be addressed as part of the solution design. * Developing a cost case: this involves identifying the various cost elements and adopting a balanced approach to deliver a cost-competitive solution without compromising the quality of service delivery. * Developing and selling the IBM value proposition: developing a compelling and differentiating IBM value proposition is critical to selling the IBM solution and the solution architect must have the ability to develop and sell this throughout the sales cycle. * Collaboration and partnering: as a key member of the sales proposal team, the solution architect will need to work effectively with client teams and external consultants and build strong relationships. In addition, this role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner with various internal IBM organizations. **Required technical and professional expertise** '- 5+ years of experience in an area of pre-sales of transformation and BPO solutions to both large and small / medium sized companies. - Strong knowledge of Finance, Procurement and/or HR (and/or other) outsourcing services. - Strong knowledge of transformation solutions including extreme automation technologies (workflows, OCR, RPA, Rules Engines, etc) and Gen AI. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance or equivalent degree. - Familiarity with business management software (SAP, Oracle). - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Strong presentation skills. - Collaborative and liaison with all levels and departments within a Consulting and Technology organization. - Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously given key priorities and responsibilities. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize well in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. - Strategic business problem solving skills. - Ability to understand value based selling and articulate it to C-level executives. - Ability to survey processes.
