Job Summary
We are looking for a subject matter expert with experience in Drug Safety and Clinical applications to join our team to deliver complex data-driven solutions support our pharmaceutical strategies.
This role involves working closely with clients to understand their business challenges delivering insightful solutions
Responsibilities:
• Data Collection & Analysis – Gathering and assessing safety data from clinical trials, healthcare providers, and patients to identify potential adverse drug reactions.
• Signal Detection – Using statistical tools to detect patterns in adverse event reports that may indicate safety concerns.
• Risk Assessment – Evaluating the risk-benefit profile of medications and recommending necessary actions.
• Regulatory Compliance – Ensuring adherence to global pharmacovigilance regulations and preparing reports for regulatory authorities.
• Process Improvement – Optimizing workflows for adverse event reporting and post-marketing surveillance.
• Stakeholder Communication – Collaborating with healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical companies, and regulatory bodies to share safety insights.
Required
Skills Required – Strong analytical skills, regulatory knowledge, medical terminology understanding, and communication abilities are essential
• Analytical Thinking – Ability to assess business problems and find solutions.
• Technical Skills – Knowledge of SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and other data analysis tools.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management – Strong interpersonal skills to interact with teams and clients.
• Project Management – Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $100,470 to $181,0000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
