Client is looking for SmartPlant Specialist (SP3D)
Industry: EPC, Petrochemical
Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Requirements/Qualification: 8-15 years of experience Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering. Degrees in other engineering discipline such Electronics/Electrical; Mechanical Engineering etc. can also be considered if supplemented with relevant experience and certifications/trainings. Self-driven, proactive, and eager to take initiatives for continuous improvement Problem solving and decision making Communication, presentation, and report writing Coordination Training and facilitation Working under pressure and meeting schedules Thorough knowledge and skills in administration and background programing ofSmartPlant Suite including SmartPlant Foundation, SmartPlant Instrumentation, andSmartPlant P&ID Intergraph PDS (able to administer and proficient in use) Navisworks and SmartPlant Review (able to administer and proficient in use) MicroStation / AutoCAD (able to administer and proficient in use) Proficient in XML programing VB6, VB.NET, and Excel VBA ASP.NET Oracle Database and Server  MS SQL Server MS Office Software installation and troubleshooting
Responsibilities: Install, maintain, administer, upgrade, and improve existing SmartPlant Suite databases such as SmartPlant Foundation, SmartPlant Instrumentation, and SmartPlant P&ID Install, maintain, administer, upgrade other engineering software used by Design Engineers and Draftsmen such as PDS, Caesar II, STAAD Pro, Navisworks, MicroStation, AutoCAD Carryout drafting and document update tasks using tools such as SmartPlant Instrumentation, SmartPlant P&ID, S3D, Microstation, and AutoCAD. Carryout documentation control activities such as document number and revision control, equipment/instrument tag assignments, layout and symbol standardization, and documentation quality checks. Training of staff on use of SmartPlant Suite and other software by developing training materials, guides, and delivering routine training.
