Job Overview: We are seeking a seasoned and proactive SmartComm Business Analyst with deep expertise in customer communication platforms and a strong background in the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in bridging business needs with technology solutions, ensuring efficient and scalable communication processes using SmartComm. Key Responsibilities: + Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for customer communications using SmartComm. + Work extensively in the PLPC, CLPC, and Life lines of business within the insurance sector. + Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and detailed user stories. + Collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to design and test SmartComm templates and communication workflows. + Define data mappings and contribute to seamless integrations with core platforms such as Salesforce and Guidewire. + Conduct gap analysis and recommend innovative communication solutions aligned with business goals. + Assist in the design and development of interactive and batch communications, including DOC1 and IC processes. + Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and facilitate end-user training and documentation. + Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups. + Work in alignment with SmartComm configuration and development teams to ensure quality and consistency. + Monitor the performance, usage, and adoption of SmartComm tools and suggest optimization strategies. Qualifications: + 8+ years of hands-on experience in the SmartComm platform. + Strong understanding of customer communication processes within insurance domains. + Proven ability to gather business requirements and convert them into technical specifications. + Experience integrating SmartComm with major systems like Salesforce and Guidewire. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present information clearly and confidently across all levels. + Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint. + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
