SMAO Client Relationship Manager

Job Summary:
Responsible for managing client relationships for SMAO clients. Utilizes knowledge of the various bank systems to provide clients with information and suggestions to add value to the relationship. Identifies opportunities to cross-sell products generating additional revenues.

Major Duties:

Support client Relationship Managers/Client Executives servicing SMAO clients.Responds to inquiries from clients and coordinates client activity and works with internal partners throughout the bank to facilitate implementation of solutions to client needs.Ensures overall client satisfaction by facilitating efforts of service team, coordinating resources to ensure timely delivery and issue-resolution, and effectively communicating client concerns/needs to partners.Develops understanding of client's business, objectives, goals and market challenges.Cultivates strong working relationships with client & partner contacts. Demonstrates ability to add value by anticipating possible solutions and partnering with client to implement.Helps coordinate presentations, brings in experts when appropriate, ensures smooth delivery of new services, and communicates emerging needs.Maintains and develops client relationships exploring opportunities to provide additional products or services. Partners with Client Relationship Managers and Relationship Managers/Client Executives to expand shared relationships.Operates independently; has in-depth knowledge of business unit / function.Acts as subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners.Strategic in developing, implementing, and administering programs within functional areas.


Knowledge:

Excellent oral and written communication skills are requiredIn-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is requiredHighly flexible and adaptable to changeTechnical skills / systems knowledge is required


Experience: A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred. Related Industry qualification is preferred

Salary Range:

$83,100 - 141,300 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
