Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Duarte, CA
Start Date: September 24, 2025 (or ASAP)
Schedule: 35–40 hours/week
Pay Rate: $38–$45/hr
Setting: In-person, school-based (TK–8th and High School)
Caseload: Assisting a virtual SLP with a caseload of 40 students (27 under case management)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support a virtual SLP in delivering high-quality speech and language services to students across multiple grade levels. This is a full-time, in-person role within a supportive school environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist the supervising SLP in implementing treatment plans and therapy sessions. Support documentation and progress tracking in accordance with the plan of care. Collaborate with educators and staff to support student communication goals. Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and professional standards.

Minimum Requirements:

Associate’s degree from an SLPA program or a bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology, communication disorders, or a related field with required coursework. Completion of at least 100 hours of supervised clinical fieldwork. Current SLPA certification or licensure in the state of California. Pediatric experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. TB test, health certificate, and compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements. Successful completion of the ASHA Assistants Certification Exam.
