The Sleep Technologist (also know as a Polysomnographic Technologist) is responsible for administering sleep studies under the direction of a physician to diagnose the type and extent of sleep disorders. This role involves conducting routine patient assessments, scoring sleep records accurately, documenting results, and collecting and transmitting biological specimens for analysis.

Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in sleep technology or a related field requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficient in scoring sleep studies and interpreting physiological data. Strong patient care and assessment skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of sleep study equipment and maintenance procedures.Licenses and Certifications
RPSGT - Registered Polysomnographer Technologist required or CPSGT - Certified Polysomnographic Technician required BCLS - Basic Life Support required
